On behalf of the owner, Landwise is hosting a virtual pre-application consultation meeting to discuss a proposal to amend the City’s Official Plan and Zoning By-law for the lands located at 198, 200 and 206 Plains Road East. This meeting is to discuss and gather public input regarding the proposed development. The owner is proposing to construct a 6-storey mixed-use building with 66 residential units and 2 commercial units on the ground level. There will be a total of 94 parking spaces, split between at-grade and 2 underground parking levels with 36 long-term bicycle parking spaces and 9 short-term, at-grade bicycle parking spaces. There will also be indoor amenity areas, such as a wellness center and a multi-purpose amenity room, and outdoor amenity areas are proposed at-grade and as a rooftop amenity area on top of the 6th floor.
During the meeting the owner’s consulting team will provide an overview of the proposal and City Planning staff will provide an overview of the development application review process. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the presentation. The Mayor and Ward Councilor will be in attendance to listen to the discussion.
