Sometimes it Snows in April began as a series of experimental short physical theatre pieces, in Spring 2024. In December 2024, Ric Knowles and Bó Bárdos joined to create Sometimes it Snows in April, which had a further development phase (through MT Space Theatre) in April 2025. The piece premiered at MT Space’s IMPACT Festival in Kitchener, Ontario, in Fall 2025.
