Biography:  Dan, in addition to delivering over 200 public presentations, is a landscape designer who specializes in shade gardens and organic gardening. As a member of the Garden Writers Association his publications resulted in him being awarded the Marshall McLuhan Award for Creative Communications. He is the owner of Green Gardens and Tours, a company that provides garden design, advice and tours to exotic gardens.
