Dr. Frank J. Hayden, whose pioneering work helped spark the global Special Olympics movement, and whose legacy continues locally through the dedication of leaders like Darlene Halchuk and Denise Nacev supporting athletes right here in Burlington.
Dennis & Lisa Scott, whose leadership through the Halton Black History Awareness Society has deepened understanding, advanced inclusion, and brought our community together through education and celebration.
Ron MacVinnie, for more than six decades of volunteerism and leadership that has strengthened Burlington’s sports, recreation, and community spirit.
Elise Naccarato, whose artistic vision and leadership have elevated Burlington’s cultural scene and amplified voices in choral music across Canada and beyond.
