World Storytelling Day is a global festival of the Art of Storytelling. Celebrated every year at the time of the Spring Equinox, storytellers around the world gather to share stories and welcome inthe new life the season brings.
The Burlington Storytellers' Guild, an association of storytellers in and around Burlington, is dedicated to the growth, development and expansion of oral tradition storytelling as an art form. The Guild was formed in 1994 "For the furtherance and enjoyment of Storytelling." Originally, folks met in St. Philip's Anglican Church in Burlington and over the years, there have been many wonderful Storytelling Circles, Festivals, Concerts, Courses and Workshops. Today, the Guild continues to provide a dynamic Storytelling presence in the Burlington area.
