YMCA's FREE Seniors Active Living Fair will showcase local wellness programs and services designed for older adults.
Each Seniors Active Living Fair is a free public education initiative, developed in partnership with the Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO) and the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility (MSAA).
Fairs are free and accessible and help to build awareness about programs and services that are available to seniors within their communities. These Seniors Fairs are an opportunity to build community partnerships, share knowledge about healthy aging and encourage participation in an active lifestyle. Just drop in! Registration is not required.

Tess Ewert Zehr is an Occupational Therapist with the Burlington Family Health Team and serves as the Team Lead for its expanded services. She works with patients both one-on-one and in group settings, and one of her favourite things is providing education sessions in the community. Tess is passionate about health promotion and helping Burlington residents engage in the activities they need and want to do.

Dr. George Ioannidis, BPE, MSc, PhD, is the Deputy Director of the GERAS Centre for Aging Research and an Associate Professor in the Divisions of Rheumatology and Geriatric Medicine, Department of Health Evidence and Impact. He also holds the Eli Lilly Canada Chair in Osteoporosis.
