The applicant is proposing to redevelop and expand the rear (western) portion of the building. The front (eastern) two-storey portion will remain. The new development will include an expanded Banquet Hall, a new Recreational Facility (Gym), an expanded Place of Worship, and new Office space. The proposed redevelopment will be two storeys in height with a portion of the second storey containing floor area and the remaining open to the roof. A total of 276 new parking spaces will be provided. Part of the new construction will be a Green Roof, and part of the original building will be used for solar panels. The expanded Place of Worship will be shifted to the rear of the building with a separate entrance. The existing Place of Worship will be converted into warehouse space.
