All are welcome to attend the Naval Memorial Service of the 79th Anniversary of the D-Day Landing (Juno Beach) during WWII. The Burl-Oak Naval Veterans will honour those RCN, RCNVR and Merchant Naval Veterans who were lost, wounded, captured as well as those who returned from the war. This year is also the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR) whose members played a vital role during WWII. Senior members of the Juno Beach Centre Burlington will highlight this important time in our history.
